Cooling Tower Maintenance

Cooling tower maintenance process is divided into three stages, namely cleaning and maintenance downtime after commissioning checks before the start, the official start running inspection checks.
(A) cooling tower down after cleaning, maintenance
1, the bulk water system
① Check the cooling tower water main, sub-pipes, nozzles without damage loose, timely repair when the line fixed. Complete removal of pipes and sprinkler cloth interior dirt, in order to ensure the smooth flow of water pipes, sprinkler water distribution uniformity.
Rinse thoroughly ② cooling tower water tray and water filter cover, to avoid clogging pipes scale dirt accumulation. Should open the drain valve cleaning is completed, put the best water in the water tray to avoid freezing.
③ Check the water dish, whether leaks foot tower, such as tainted point, timely glue.
2, cooling system
① clean all cooling tower heat exchanger material (filler), the elimination of hot metal surface dirt off the scale, between the holes, ensure clean heat transfer material. Heat disassembly line repair replacement material. Laying close attention when filling, leaving no gaps.
② cleaning block curtain, blanket silencer remove dirt. Repair replacement for breakage. Requirements stop laying when the curtain close, to prevent leaching. The cooling tower filled with water, check for leaks (especially the tower junction), if the leak, replace the seal.
3, transmission
① Motor: Check motor terminals is intact, the motor rotation is normal, the motor connected wire box for sealing, lubrication motor bearings, motor housing repainted. Long-term shutdown, suggest that the owners of at least a month running motor 3 hours, keeping the motor coil dry and lubricate the bearing surface.
② reducer: Check reducer rotation is normal, if different sound, immediately replace the gearbox bearings.
③ belts, pulleys: Adjust the top wire, loosen the belt and extend belt life. Check the belts for damage, cracks, if necessary, suggest that the owners replaced with new belts. Check pulleys, motor frame level, tighten loose bolts, rusted bolts be replaced.
④ fan: clean surface dirt blade, check the blade angle, blade gap and wind torso, and make adjustments.
4, the appearance of the tower
① wind torso, tower, into the wind guide thoroughly cleaned to ensure clean and beautiful appearance.
② re-tighten all parts of the bolts and replace rusted bolts.
③ Check the appearance of the tower without damage, cracks, timely repair.
④ Check the tower vertical wall joints are tight, re-gluing repair if necessary.
5, cooling tower accessories
① Check the automatic replenishment system - float for damage, whether it is working properly. Abnormal timely repair, replacement.
② cooling tower iron bolts and re-tighten, replace rusted bolts, rusting iron for a new painting.
③ Check the inlet and outlet, fill pipe tower flanges without damage, leaks, cooling tower cleaning and maintenance is completed, it is recommended to use the color of the owners of the cooling tower air enclosure cloth torso wrapped sealed to prevent debris into the cooling tower interior.
(B) before the start of the cooling tower inspection, mode
① remove the barrel blocking the wind, adjust the top wire, adjust the belt tightness.
② carefully check the cooling tower transmission of motor, reducer is functioning properly.
③ cleaning up the cooling tower water dish, place the dirt filter, check the water drain pan, airtight foot tower, adjust the float position, so that the water level in line with the requirements of the disk.
④ adjust the angle of the blades, measure the motor current to achieve the best working condition standards.
⑤ adjust the cooling tower inlet and outlet valves, cooling tower water flow to meet the requirements.

(C) the operation of the cooling tower inspection, examination
① regular visits to check the operation of the cooling tower, to solicit the views of users to understand the use of cooling towers
② seriously test the cooling tower inlet water temperature, current and other technical data of the motor is running.
③ carefully check the operation status of the motor, reducer, and other transmission. Check the water distribution system of the actual working conditions.
④ find fault, immediately.
